About the role

This role leads conveyance infrastructure projects from planning through to handover, working with engineering, design and construction teams as well as external partners. It sits within a global infrastructure consultancy and suits an experienced project manager who is comfortable running large, multidisciplinary work. The position covers the full project lifecycle, including commercial and contract matters.

What you'll do

Plan, execute, monitor and close out conveyance infrastructure projects
Define project scope, schedules, budgets and resource plans
Track progress and apply corrective measures where needed
Handle project risks, issues and change control
Work with engineering, design and construction teams on technical requirements

Review engineering designs, specifications and construction methods

Ensure work follows relevant codes, standards and regulations

Act as main contact for clients, consultants, contractors and authorities

Run project meetings and issue regular progress reports

Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve concerns

Administer contracts and oversee procurement

Review contractor performance, claims, variations and payment applications

Monitor costs and keep budgets under control

Oversee construction activities against project schedules

Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality standards are met

Carry out site inspections and coordinate commissioning and handover

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical or environmental engineering, construction management or a related field
8+ years of experience in infrastructure, utility, water/wastewater, pipeline or conveyance projects
Track record managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects
Solid grasp of engineering design, construction and project delivery
Project planning and scheduling skills, such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
Strong leadership and team management ability
