About the role
You will join the Airport Operations Department within the Customer Services & Operations Division, working with the Safety, Security & Compliance team. The role covers administrative support for safety and security matters as well as hands-on ground safety and security work across Singapore and overseas stations. It suits someone with a diploma, an eye for detail and an interest in aviation safety and compliance.
What you'll do
Handle email queries from stations and service providers on ground safety and security matters.
Help prepare for Safety Management System and IATA Operational Safety Audits.
Help run the annual Continuous Self-Assessment exercise.
Keep stations informed of changes to ground safety, security and load control processes, and share best practices and lessons from incidents.
Make sure AOD auditors' and CSO staff training currency stays up to date.
Update manuals with new procedures and policies, inform users of updates, and keep updated versions in the GSD database.
Compile and review Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment forms submitted by stations every two years or as needed.
Help review and maintain a HIRA register, reviewed every two years under SMS requirements.
Arrange and coordinate meetings, events and safety campaigns as needed.
Make sure fines from authorities are passed to Procurement or Finance for recovery against service providers where applicable.
Conduct surveys and collate responses from various parties.
Conduct HIRA for AOSSC and CSO every two years or as needed.
Work with relevant departments and stations to implement changes needed for regulatory compliance.
Perform ground safety and process audits on Singapore and overseas stations based on the AOSSC Audit Plan.
Help investigate incidents and hazard reports and provide findings and corrective actions, with reports updated in the system by the target completion date.
Help analyse safety performance data and write reports.
Drive ground safety and security initiatives and promotion activities in stations, and provide sustainable training on ground safety and security for ground staff.
Provide ad-hoc support for crisis or major flight disruption handling at the airport or overseas stations.
