About the role

This role sits with the EBG engineering team and focuses on keeping CRM platforms reliable, stable and high quality. You will work across Whalecloud EBS, Salesforce and telco CRM systems, partnering with developers, integration teams and business stakeholders. It suits a QA or Dev-QA professional with telco or CRM exposure who enjoys integration and automation work.

What you'll do

Design, build and maintain manual and automated test cases for CRM systems such as Whalecloud EBS, Salesforce and telco CRM platforms
Validate end-to-end CRM flows covering customer onboarding and lifecycle, order management and fulfilment, billing and charging integrations, and customer data synchronisation
Run integration testing across CRM and billing systems such as BSCS, CRM and middleware such as Axway and APIs, and CRM and data platforms such as EDW and ODS

Develop and execute REST and SOAP API tests for CRM services and integrations

Build and maintain test automation frameworks for API testing, UI testing where relevant for Salesforce or portals, and batch and file-based processing validation

Work with developers to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria and to ensure adequate test coverage for new features and integrations

Support UAT, SIT and regression testing cycles in line with business requirements

Validate data integrity and reconciliation across systems, which is critical for telco and financial flows

Identify defects, carry out root cause analysis and drive timely resolution with development teams

Establish and enforce QA best practices covering test strategy, test data management and defect lifecycle management

Take part in release validation and production readiness checks for CRM-related deployments

Support cloud migration testing such as AWS, confirming system behaviour stays consistent after migration

Cloud migration testing exposure includes AWS

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
3–6+ years in QA or Dev-QA roles, ideally in CRM or telco settings
Strong hands-on experience with CRM systems such as Whalecloud EBS, Salesforce or other telco CRM platforms
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and REST tools
Experience with integration testing across multiple systems
SQL skills and data validation experience
