This role supports the Sales & Marketing team at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore in Marina Bay, handling office and sales administration for events. It suits someone with at least a year of related experience who is comfortable dealing with clients and keeping sales paperwork in order.

Handle general office tasks such as filing, emailing, typing, faxing and copying
Prepare sales documents including proposals, contracts and banquet event orders
Promote the brand image both inside and outside the company
Gather materials and put together information packages such as brochures and promotional items
Apply sales techniques to grow revenue while keeping existing guest loyalty
Enter, retrieve, reconcile and verify sales information such as commissions, leads and third-party details in software
Answer guest questions about hotel facilities and services, including opening hours, rates, room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants and special events
Act as the main contact for clients, responding to their questions and requests by phone and email
Follow company policies and procedures, keep uniform and appearance clean and professional, maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
Welcome guests to company standards, anticipate their needs and thank them sincerely
Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare accurate written documents and answer calls with proper etiquette
Build positive working relationships, support the team in reaching shared goals and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns
Meet quality assurance expectations and standards
Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without help
Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
