Experience Some experience About the role You will oversee the welcome desk at W Singapore - Sentosa Cove, handling guest arrivals and departures while supporting the front office team. This role suits someone with front desk and supervisory experience who enjoys leading by example and delivering polished service.
What you'll do Process guest check-ins, confirm identity and payment method, assign rooms and issue keys Set up guest accounts accurately and enter loyalty programme details Check that rates match market codes and document any exceptions Take payment before releasing room keys and verify or adjust billing Know someone for this? Prepare and review daily reports, logs and contingency lists
Complete cashier and closing reports
Give guests directions and information about the property
Handle guest requests, loop in the right colleagues and follow up until resolved
Process payments, vouchers, paid-outs and charges, balance and drop receipts
Count and secure the bank at the start and end of each shift
Obtain manual authorisations and follow accounting procedures
Report any guest reports of theft to Loss Prevention or Security
Help management train, evaluate, counsel, motivate and coach employees
Act as a role model and first point of contact for the fair treatment and open door process
Build positive working relationships and support the team in reaching shared goals
