About the role

This role is a strategic HR partner to business leadership, turning business priorities into practical people plans. You will work across the HR team and with department heads to strengthen organisational capability, employee engagement and performance. It suits someone who can think strategically while also working hands-on across a broad range of people matters.

What you'll do

Partner with executive leadership and department heads on workforce needs and people strategies
Lead organisational design, change management and restructuring work
Analyse workforce trends, employee feedback and HR metrics to recommend improvements
Lead workforce and organisational planning, including headcount, role design, succession planning and capability development
Work with Talent Acquisition to define hiring requirements and build a strong candidate pipeline

Work with Total Rewards on compensation, promotions and incentive structures

Advise managers and employees on workplace issues, conflict resolution and policy interpretation

Manage employee matters with sound judgement, confidentiality and timely escalation of complex cases

Oversee the annual performance review cycle, including goal setting, appraisals and feedback sessions

Coach managers on feedback, performance improvement plans and career development discussions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Around 4 to 6 years of relevant HR experience, preferably as an HRBP or HR generalist supporting business units
Working knowledge of core HR disciplines such as employee relations, performance management, talent management, recruitment and rewards
Sound knowledge of applicable employment legislation and HR practices
Able to build credibility, advise clearly and constructively challenge stakeholders
Able to assess people matters objectively and develop practical, balanced solutions
