About the role
This role supports the Sales & Marketing team at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach, handling administrative and client-facing tasks for MICE events. It suits someone organised, comfortable with office software and guest communication, and keen to grow within a hotel sales environment.
What you'll do
Handle general office duties such as filing, emails, typing, faxing and copying
Prepare sales documents including proposals, contracts and banquet event orders
Promote the brand image both internally and externally
Gather materials and put together information packages like brochures and promotional items
Apply sales techniques to grow revenue while keeping existing guest loyalty
Enter, retrieve, reconcile and verify sales information such as commissions, leads and third-party details in software
Answer guest questions on property facilities and services, including hours, rates, room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants and special events
Act as the main point of contact for clients, responding by phone and email
Follow company policies, keep uniform and appearance clean and professional, maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
Welcome guests per company standards, anticipate their needs and thank them sincerely
Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare accurate written documents and answer calls with proper etiquette
Build positive working relationships, support team goals and listen to colleagues' concerns
Meet quality assurance expectations and standards
Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 10 pounds without help
Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors

Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience required
No license or certification required
