About the role
This role sits within Visa's consulting and analytics division, working with card issuers, acquirers and merchants on strategic transformation projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams that help clients rethink payment capabilities, adopt Visa products and overcome implementation barriers. It suits an experienced consulting professional who can manage complex, high-impact engagements and influence stakeholders across functions.
What you'll do
Lead and program-manage large, complex client engagements, ensuring delivery teams execute and clients adopt Visa products, platforms and solutions
Build and maintain deep knowledge of Visa products and solutions, along with market trends, client priorities and revenue objectives
Act as a functional and technical champion, advocating client needs while aligning recommendations with Visa's product strategy and commercial goals
Partner with business, product, technology, operations, risk, compliance and external vendors to define requirements, align stakeholders and track progress
Work with UI/UX experts, solution architects and product teams to assess options, manage competing priorities and set client expectations
Plan, execute and deliver projects involving debit, credit and prepaid card products as well as commercial money movement solutions within scope, timelines and budgets
Identify and address adoption barriers across process, technology, operations and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation
Promote the use of generative AI to improve daily deliverables, delivery efficiency and knowledge sharing
Prepare and maintain project documentation such as plans, status reports, RAID logs, governance materials and executive updates
Monitor risks, issues, dependencies and key decisions, escalating when needed to keep delivery on track
Manage testing, defect resolution, client sign-off and product enablement for delivered features and capabilities
Ensure project activities comply with internal governance standards, controls, risk requirements and delivery methodologies
Good to know
At least 3 days per week in the office, with specific days confirmed by the hiring manager
Project management certification such as PMP or Scrum Agile is a plus
Requirements
10–12 years of consulting experience leading large-scale complex programs
Advanced degree such as Masters, MBA or MD
Expertise in Visa or Mastercard payment products, ideally with financial and payment system implementation experience
Ability to analyse data sets to find insights, risks and improvement opportunities
Experience with cross-functional teams covering product requirements, design, development, implementation, testing, training and support
Exposure to real-world AI use cases in financial services and ability to translate opportunities into AI requirements
