About the role

This role sits within the Flight Hour Services team and supports fleet health monitoring and engineering activities for the SIA A380 and SCOOT A320 Family fleets. You will work closely with the Fleet Health Lead and various internal teams to keep operational reliability high and meet airworthiness standards. It suits an engineering or aircraft maintenance professional who is organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working under pressure.

What you'll do

Carry out pre-departure checks and flight watch duties on a shift basis
Help monitor recurring defects and trends using AIRMAN and SKYWISE
Support daily operations at the main base and outstations
Help create engineering recommendations for predictive and preventive maintenance
Expedite critical modifications at line maintenance with Materials Management, Planning and Operations

Assist with daily MRO task management

Support AOG events and critical aircraft troubleshooting

Help prepare AOG reports and coordinate post-AOG follow-up

Assess defect rectification opportunities with Materials Management, Planning and Operations

Act as the interface between Airbus Head Office Customer Support and the customer

Support technical or ad-hoc projects and process improvements

Provide technical support outside office hours on a shift and duty basis

Communicate emerging fleet issues to the TSP Engineering Avionics/Systems/Powerplant team

Support and develop new business cases related to AOTP improvement

Take part in SKYWISE development, trials and improvement

Provide technical inputs to the Fleet Health Lead for TSC/RIC/TRM discussions

Good to know

Shift and duty work is required, including support outside office hours
Flexible working arrangements are supported where possible

Requirements

Degree in Engineering, an aircraft maintenance licence, or at least 3 years of relevant airline, MRO or OEM engineering or technical experience
Strong organisational skills and flexibility to handle multiple priorities and changing deadlines
Attention to detail
Able to work under stress
Commitment to excellence and delivering the best outcomes for customers
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work well in a team
