About the role
This role supports the planning and delivery of MICE audio-visual services at Marina Bay Sands. You will work with clients, internal teams and vendors to document event needs, coordinate resources and support events on site. It suits someone with AV or live event experience who is organised, detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced operational environment.
What you'll do
Contact clients and join planning or coordination meetings to understand and document event needs and technical requirements.
Prepare and update event technical documents such as service orders, technical riders, run-downs, equipment lists, floor plans and cost estimates.
Keep event information accurate and current in systems and trackers, with version control and timely updates to stakeholders.
Help consolidate event requirements, manpower needs and set-up or tear-down timelines for scheduling and deployment.
Coordinate equipment requests, rentals and logistics with internal teams and approved vendors.
Attend production meetings, site recce sessions and rehearsals, capturing actions and updating documentation.
Provide on-site coordination with in-house teams and vendors during load-in, live operations and load-out.
Liaise with internal departments such as Event Planning, Operations, Security and Facilities to align event readiness.
Coordinate with external contractors on delivery timing, access and scope of work, escalating issues promptly.
Support monitoring of event-related costs and maintain records for reconciliation and reporting.
Assist with internal requests and documentation such as rental requests and purchase or service requisitions.
Follow safety procedures during planning and on-site execution, reporting hazards, incidents or non-compliances.
Help collect and file event documentation for audits, accreditation and compliance, such as permits, method statements and risk assessments.
Take part in post-event debriefs and help capture learnings, feedback and improvement actions.
Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and operational objectives.
Good to know
Able to work shifts and extended hours, including weekends and public holidays, based on event requirements.
Work may take place in loud environments and operational or back-of-house areas.
The role may require working at height in line with safety procedures.
Location is Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
Requirements
NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in AV, electronics or electrical engineering, event production or management, media production or a related field is preferred
At least 3 years of experience in AV production, event technical services or live event operations
MICE experience is an advantage
Exposure to event planning documentation, on-site coordination and working with vendors or contractors
Basic proficiency in AV-related software or CAD drawings is an advantage
Working knowledge of media production and content tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or other video editing tools, and basic image or video formats and workflows is an advantage
