About the role

You will join the Technical team at SATS, maintaining and keeping all systems and equipment at ICC 1 and 2 in working order. The role covers a wide range of warehouse, automation, refrigeration, kitchen and waste management equipment, and suits someone with a hands-on engineering background who is comfortable in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll do

Maintain, repair and troubleshoot ICC systems and equipment such as warehouse systems, material handling and automation systems, refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment, packaging and inspection machines, washing machines and waste management systems
Carry out maintenance and repair work on schedule and within set timeframes, following procedures, checklists and manufacturer recommendations
Handle technical purchase requisitions for spare parts, contracts and services in line with company policies
Work with stakeholders to keep system and equipment downtime to a minimum
Take a proactive approach to resolving technical faults and suggest improvements
Follow all Safe Work Procedures and Food Safety requirements
Keep work areas tidy and report safety hazards right away
Support other duties and project assignments when needed

You may work either office hours or rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime when required
A joining bonus of $5000 is available for Singaporeans and PRs

Requirements

Minimum ITE certification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering or equivalent
Computer-literate and able to use Microsoft Office, Outlook, SAP and IT devices
Competent with industrial workshop equipment and welding tools
Able to read technical drawings and documentation and communicate in English
Able to carry heavy loads and work at height
A motivated team player who can lead and work under tight timelines
