About the role

This role supports the finance team with financial analysis, reporting and consolidation for institutions within the organisation. It involves working closely with auditors, shared services and external parties on accounting and audit matters. The position suits an experienced analyst with a background in external audit and consolidation who can work independently and meet tight deadlines.

What you'll do

Analyse and report monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance, covering actuals, forecasts and budgets
Support the annual budget and projection cycles
Prepare consolidated financials for management and statutory reporting
Provide guidance on FRS compliance and finance policy for new and developing accounting matters
Act as main liaison with 1FSS, site finance and auditors on key accounting and audit requirements
Assist with BPC consolidation and budget system matters and Chart of Accounts mapping and harmonisation
Formulate and update cluster finance policies and respond to queries
Liaise with MOHH and MOH on reporting matters
Coordinate the annual external audit cycle with auditors
Collate and analyse data to support management decision making
Identify ways to improve productivity and cost management
Review accuracy of consolidated headcount and patient volumes
Analyse institutions' financials and key ratios
Reformat consolidation spreadsheets when there are changes to entities or group structure
Assist in preparing projection and budget assumptions and templates
Analyse and review cost recovery ratios
Consolidate group and company financial statements for statutory reporting
Prepare timelines and coordinate interim and year-end audits
Use the consolidation system for assigned accounts
Liaise with MOHH and Synapxe consultants on system issue rectifications and settings changes
Provide guidance to FSS-GL and institutions' finance teams on issues and submissions
Work with MOHH, 1FSS and other clusters to harmonise COA and align mapping in SAP and BPC
Track and monitor AR days, bad debt write-offs and productivity ratios
Handle other ad hoc duties as required

Contract position based in Singapore

Requirements

Recognised degree in Accountancy
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
SAP and BPC experience is an added advantage
Prior external audit and consolidation experience is required
Analytical and inquisitive mind
