About the role

This role sits within a global professional services firm, focused on keeping enterprise SAP environments secure and compliant. You will work with teams across the business to build and support authorization frameworks for SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications. It suits someone with some SAP security or access management background who enjoys troubleshooting and improving processes.

What you'll do

Work with business stakeholders, project teams and functional teams to investigate and fix authorization issues in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.
Give technical guidance on authorization design, role upkeep, user provisioning and access governance.
Create, maintain and document security designs, authorization concepts and access management procedures in line with company standards and least privilege.
Handle user access lifecycle tasks such as access requests, role assignments, changes, reviews and deprovisioning.
Define, review and validate technical requirements covering security, integration, performance, quality and scalability.
Keep SAP applications and supporting infrastructure running in line with service level agreements.
Partner with cloud operations and support teams to track system performance, capacity use and key operational metrics.
Help drive continuous improvement by spotting ways to strengthen security controls, operational efficiency and user experience in SAP environments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, information systems, engineering or a related field
At least 1 year of experience in SAP security, authorization management, user access management or similar SAP technologies
Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP Gateway architecture
Experience with SAP S/4HANA authorization concepts, role design and access management
Understanding of SAP security principles, segregation of duties and access governance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing authorization issues
