About the role

This role supports the sales function for a serviced residences business in Singapore, working with operations and revenue teams to grow the client base and keep existing guests loyal. It suits someone with a hospitality or hotel management background who is comfortable with daily outreach, negotiation and hitting monthly targets.

What you'll do

Present the serviced residences' products and services professionally to clients
Carry out daily sales work such as telemarketing, sales calls, site visits, entertainment, tradeshows and presentations
Run the sales process from building rapport and asking questions through follow-up, expectation management, conflict handling, objection handling, closing and post-sale feedback
Source new leads and prospects and set up accounts to widen the client base
Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and customers to encourage loyalty
Manage leads, answer inquiries quickly and offer suitable solutions
Use company systems and sales tools, including the property management system, CRM and booker loyalty programme
Work with the Operations team to improve guest experiences
Work with the Revenue Management team to optimise rates and occupancy
Ensure responses are timely and communication is effective
Collect and share publicly available market information
Give superiors and the team regular updates on activities and market insights
Meet monthly sales targets in line with cluster budget objectives
Promote and enrol clients in the booker loyalty programme
Review account portfolios regularly, analyse performance and present findings to management for action planning
Comply with statutory regulations and internal guidelines and SOPs
Follow up with clients on outstanding or long-overdue payments
Take part in ad hoc or promotional client and serviced residences activities
Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor diligently and professionally

Requirements

Diploma or degree in hospitality, tourism, hotel management or equivalent
Relevant experience in hotel sales, such as property agent, travel agent or travel trade
Strong communication, interpersonal, networking and organisational skills
Good negotiation and presentation skills
Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently and as part of a team
