F&B Service Crew resume example
For service crew, waiters, cashiers and baristas at cafés, restaurants, hawker-style chains and fast food outlets in Singapore, including students and part-timers. A short, clear resume that shows when you can work is often all you need.

F&B service crew resume tips for Singapore
Food safety certificate first
Food handlers in Singapore need to complete the Food Safety Course Level 1. If you have it, put it near the top. If you do not, many employers will send you, but having it already helps.
Make your availability impossible to miss
Outlet managers plan rosters every week. Say exactly which days and hours you can work, and whether that changes in school holidays.
Short is fine
A half page with your availability, a few lines of experience and your certificate is enough for most crew roles.
No experience? Show the right qualities
Volunteering, CCA roles, family business help or school events all show you can work with people and turn up on time.
List your languages
Being able to serve customers in English and Mandarin, Malay or Tamil is useful at the counter.
Hourly rate is a separate conversation
Leave salary or hourly rate off your resume. The job ad usually states it, and you can ask at the interview.
Common mistakes
- Not saying which days and times you are free.
- Leaving out a food safety certificate you already have.
- A long resume with school subjects that do not help with the job.
Let Jio arrange your resume for each job
Upload your resume once. For each job you pick, Jio puts your most relevant work first and writes a cover letter, using only what is in your resume. You read it, then you send it. Applying is always free.
