About the role

You will supervise the assigned kitchen’s daily operations to maintain high food quality, consistency and guest satisfaction. Duties include monitoring food preparation, yield testing, ordering, receiving and proper rotation and labelling of ingredients. You will control portioning, serving, requisitions, menu recipe costing and minimise wastage. You must enforce high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation according to hotel, NEA and HACCP guidelines, including safe storage and handling of food. You will also help onboard and train culinary colleagues, ensure workplace safety compliance, manage team conduct and build strong working relationships with guests and colleagues.

Requirements

• Professional certificate in a culinary-related field
• At least 3 years of relevant F&B experience in a similar position
• Proficient in written and conversational English
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels
• Service-oriented with an eye for detail
• Flexible and able to respond to change
