The Construction Director is the PMC's senior field delivery executive responsible for integrated oversight of all onshore, marine, and subsea construction activities across Solar PV, BESS, HVAC transmission, substations, and the Indonesia–Singapore subsea interconnector works. The role provides governance, assurance, leadership, and performance management across multiple EPC/EPCI contractors to ensure construction is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project objectives. Key responsibilities include construction leadership and governance, delivery oversight, contractor management, readiness and planning, marine and subsea oversight, interface management, HSE and quality leadership, schedule and logistics management, and commissioning and turnover readiness. The position acts independently on behalf of the Owner through the PMC appointment and is accountable for safe execution, milestone delivery, contractor performance, quality compliance, and successful handover of project facilities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
Minimum 20 years’ experience in major capital project delivery
Minimum 10 years in senior construction leadership roles
Proven track record delivering projects exceeding US$1 billion
Extensive experience managing EPC/EPCI contractors and large multidisciplinary construction teams
Strong experience in power, transmission, renewable energy, or major infrastructure projects
